The first thing you need to do is install and activate the Testimonial Rotator plugin from WordPress plugin repository.

After activating the plugin, you need to visit Testimonials > Add Rotator page. This is where you will get to choose how you want to display the rotating testimonials on your website.

Here, you’ll be able to configure your rotator the way you want. You have the option to choose animation, transition effects, the duration for each testimonial, show/hide items, and more.

Now, you need to enter the company or product that these testimonials are associated with. The information will now be displayed but will be used to add rich snippets meta data for search engines. You can now select a theme for your testimonial. By default, the plugin comes with two themes to choose from – Default and Longform. You can also purchase other themes from the plugin’s author if you want to.

Once you are done customizing your rotator, you can click on the Publish button to save your changes.

Let’s add some testimonials now. You can add testimonials by going to Testimonials > Add New page from your WordPress admin area.

You need to add the client’s name in the title field, and their testimonial in the post editor. Next thing you need to do is scroll down the “Testimonials Options” section. You have to add the testimonial to the rotator that you created earlier. After that, you can select a star rating, client’s job title or company, and add client’s image to be displayed.

After you’ve finished that, click on the Publish button to save the testimonial. You can repeat the process to add more client testimonials. After adding a few testimonials, you are now ready to add them to your WordPress site. You need to visit the Testimonials > All Rotators page and copy the “User rotator settings” shortcode next to the rotator you’ve created.

You can paste this shortcode on any WordPress post or page where you want to display your customer testimonials. Also, you can add it to a sidebar widget if you want to display it there.
