Add Specific Posts to WordPress Navigation Menu 


First, visit the main customization page of the menu through Appearance > Menus on your dashboard.

Appearance - MenusThen, select the menu that you want to edit. Also, you can create a new menu and upload it as your navigation menu. Here I have created a new menu and named it ‘Primary Menu’ to add specific posts to WordPress navigation menu.

After successfully creating the menu, you will now see tabs for pages, posts, custom links and categories on the left side of the screen.

If you do not see the Posts option, head over to the Screen Options at the top right corner and checkmark the Posts option.

Expand the Posts tab and your posts shall appear in the tab for you to checkmark them. Select the posts that you want to add to your navigation menu and click on the Add to Menu option after you’re done selecting the posts.

After you’ve added the posts to your navigation menu, you can now drag each item into the order you prefer. As mentioned on the page, you can click the arrow on the right of the item to reveal additional configuration options.

Save MenuClick on the Save Menu button once you’ve set the order. Now, you can visit your website and see your added specific posts in action.

In order to re-position your navigation menu, head over to the Manage Locations tab inside the Menus option.
