The WordPress enthusiasts from around the globe will be involved in the WordPress 15th Anniversary celebration. WordPress powers 30% of the websites and with that much of coverage across the world, you can be very much sure that it is going to be grand.
WordPress first came into existence back in the year 2003, having bifurcated in two versions: a self-hosted one—WordPress.org that is available for free, and a hosted one—WordPress.com that bundles additional services and support into its offering for ease of use. WordPress refers to both the non-hosted open source and hosted platform.
WordPress has been continually progressing and gaining more fans since it first started. WordPress has given everyone a platform to show the best in them. It is one of the many reasons to be involved in the WordPress 15th Anniversary Celebration this May.

WordPress 15th Anniversary Celebration in Kathmandu
Now, talking about the WordPress Kathmandu community, yes, we will be celebrating the WordPress 15th Anniversary. On the 27th of May this year, our community is planning a global event, celebrating the WordPress 15th Anniversary with WordPress community groups around the world.
Everyone is welcomed to the event. The organizers of the event are planning to celebrate 15 years of WordPress with a WordPress birthday cake, along with some soft drinks and cookies. Also, there will be WP stickers to give away. We’ll be sharing our party photos and love for WordPress with the rest of the world via the official hashtag for the day #wp15.
The event will take place from 11 A.M. to 1 P.M. The venue for the event has been finalized at Yellow Pomelo, which is located at Jhamsikhel, Lalitpur.
