WordPress 4.6 Release Candidate (RC) has been made available for download.

After making some few refinements to the beta released a week ago, WordPress 4.6 Beta, the core development, led by Dominik Schilling, made this public.

Making the RC public means the core development are nearly done with WordPress 4.6 but with millions of users and thousands of themes and plugins, they’re aware of the possibility that something might have been missed. So they’re asking WordPress users all over to test 4.6.

If you think you’ve found a bug, please post to the Alpha/Beta support forum. If any known issues come up, you’ll be able to find them here.

To test WordPress 4.6, you can use the WordPress Beta Tester plugin or you can download WordPress 4.6 Release Candidate here (zip).
