WordPress Meetups are locally-organized, volunteer-run meetups that assemble WordPress enthusiasts to talk WordPress. They are run on a regular basis (commonly once a month and aim to benefit the WordPress community as a whole. It is open to all who wish to join, regardless of ability, background, skill or any other criteria.
WordPress Nepal has been continually organizing WordPress meetups in various locations of the country; the most popular being WordPress Kathmandu Meetup. Organized on the last Sunday of every month, it attracts some individuals wanting to share their WordPress experience and some wanting learn from the shared knowledge.
WordPress Kathmandu January 2017 Meetup is the first meetup of the year. It will be conducted on the 29th of this month at Knic Education Foundation Pvt. Ltd., Jawalakhel. Speaking at this hour-long meetup are Raj Kumar Tamang and Anup GC. Tamang is a creative designer from Theme Palace and his topic is “Common mistakes in UI/UX”. Likewise, GC is a senior WordPress Developer from Rigorous Web Services. He will be talking on “WooCommerce – The Best eCommerce Platform for WordPress”. The event will begin from 11:00 AM sharp and is completely free to attend. Besides the learning aspect of WordPress Kathmandu January 2017 Meetup, you also get to meet other local fans and aficionados of WordPress; grow your networks.
