For those who’re wondering why micro sponsor instead of the regular standard tickets, it is due to the costing. According to the organizers, regular tickets are well below the actual cost (including lunch, after-party, swag, payment processing fee, and more). For budget limitation, the organizers could only make micro sponsor tickets available for sale at this time.
The first flagship of its kind—WordCamp Asia 2020 is taking place this year and it is going to be GRAND. WCASIA2020 is happening in the beautiful city of Thailand. Initially, there were only 1,000 tickets, then they upgraded the number to 1,250 and again to 1,375. Since people from around the globe have shown keen interest in participating at WCASIA, the organizers are releasing 50 Micro Sponsor Tickets this Wednesday, January 15 at noon Bangkok time (UTC+7).
