The most-awaited, WordCamp of this year WordCamp Asia 2024 concluded this month with huge success. DevotePress was proud to represent WordCamp Asia 2024 as the official media partner. And, being the official media partner of WCASIA2024, we’ve posted many posts about the event. The three-day conference was filled with interesting presentations, talks, and fun activities.
In WordCamp Asia 2024, many amazing WordPress enthusiasts took part worldwide. The first day was a Contributor day. There were a total of 28 long talks, 10 lightning talks, 5 talks from invited speakers, 2 workshops, and two panel discussions on the 2nd and 3rd days in different halls (Track 1, Track 2, Track 3, Track 4, and WorkShop) in Taipei, Taiwan.
Day 1: The Contributor Day
The event began with the “Contributor Day”. On this day all the participants make their contributions to the WordPress ecosystem. As we all know WordPress is an open-source platform, and most of its resources are the contributions of the community. On this Contribution Day, anyone can participate with any level of experience and skills.
This year’s WordCamp Asia 2024 Contributor Day has witnessed several hundred WordPressers contributed in various areas.
Day 2: The Beginning of the event
The second day, 8th March started with a huge inflow of attendees. And, the event started with an open networking session after registration. The opening remarks were done in Track 1 Plenary Hall. There were a total of 24 presentations presented by amazing speakers, 1 panel discussion, and 1 workshop.
Day 3: The Final Day of the Event
On the final day of WordCamp Asia 2024, some of the attractive events took place including the conversation with WordPress founder Matt Mullenweg. And, there were 22 talks, 1 workshop, and a panel discussion on different five halls – Track 1, Track 2, Track 3, Track 4, and Workshop Hall.

All in all, WordCamp Asia 2024 Concluded with a huge success. The hashtag #wcasia got trending on Twitter during the three-day event. WordCamp Asia 2024 gave everyone a chance to meet and network with a lot of new people and learn a lot from talks and discussions. And lastly, next year’s event, the WordCamp Asia 2025 is scheduled to be held in Manila, Philippines. The event is taking place in February 2025. Also, if you want to organize the event you can fill up the form and join the team.
