Final Episode: An Exclusive interview with Jenny Beaumont at WCEU2019

Jenny Beaumont Interview

Welcome to Episode 13 of DevotePress’ WCEU2019 Interview Series. It is also the final episode for the WCEU interview series. For this episode, we present you Jenny Beaumont, originally from California and living in France since the past 20 years. She is a multicultural, multidisciplinary maker and writer of things. Jenny works at Human Made as a Senior Project Manager and Certified Scrum Master and is based in rural Normandy.

Jenny Beaumont has worked in and around the web industry since the late 90s, has been working closely with WordPress since version 3.0, and with the WordPress community since 2013 when she attended her first WordCamp.

At WordCamp Europe 2019, Jenny explored science, history, medicine, yoga, agile and more; and how these ideas affect us as individuals and as members of a rapidly growing community. She touched several aspects as to what “doing it wrong” means, how doing it wrong is not so bad and how everyone can make things right for themselves.

In this interview, Jenny shares her WP journey, how she went from dissing WordPress to actually using it, her freelancing journey, what she learned by her mistakes, and how everyone else can do it right in their life. She also focused on meditation as a tool to keep oneself away from the distractions in their life and have the patience to achieve things.

DevotePress would like to thank Jenny Beaumont for sitting with us and sharing her thoughts and opinions.
