WordCamp US 2023 is Announcing Speakers – Round 5. So, here is the list.
WordCamp US 2023 is taking place this year on 24-26 August 2023. The event is happening at the Gaylord National Resort & Convention Center in National Harbor, Maryland. And the team is really excited to welcome the fifth round of WordCamp US speakers. This is the fifth in a series of daily announcements sharing a different group of talented speakers.
The event is nearing and with that, the preparations are at their peak. There are so many things to take care of in order to deliver a grand event. Likewise, Speakers are the core part of the WordCamp. They are one of the reasons why many people enjoy attending WordCamp. The WCUS2023 team has announced the first, second, third, fourth, and fifth rounds of WCUS2023 confirmed speakers, who are going to deliver ‘Development Talks’.

Destiny Kanno
Destiny Fox Kanno is a multifaceted professional with a passion for technology, social science, and advocating for civil and social justice. As a connector by nature, she prioritizes establishing deep and meaningful connections with everyone she encounters, whether in her professional or personal life. With a strong focus on equity and inclusion, Destiny approaches each situation with curiosity and an open mind.
Gary McPherson
Gary is a technology developer, consultant, educator and founder whose career spans over two decades and a wide array of roles including developer, team lead, architect and CTO. He’s delivered and led projects for a broad spectrum of clients ranging from solopreneurs to household brands. In addition, he frequently serves as speaker, mentor and advisor for a range of other initiatives focused on supporting structurally excluded demographics across the tech industry.
George H. Woodard III
George Woodard is a full-time Marketing Consultant and WordPress Developer. He works with marketing and communication teams to help improve their creative and content efforts to continue the growth of their organization’s visibility online and provide a consistent experience for their audience across all platforms.
Maestro Stevens
Maestro Stevens is a highly skilled brand webmaster and founder of The Iconic Expressions creative agency. He has 8+ years of experience in marketing strategy, brand strategy, website development, and project management. He enjoys using technology and strategies to simplify life, cooking, reading, and traveling. Recently Maestro has developed a platform under his agency called Iconic Templates, which focuses on creating free and premium templates for WordPress users.
Ray Mitchell
Ray is the owner of Made for You Media, which focuses on meeting the digital marketing needs of local businesses and non-profit organizations. He also serves as a Mentor at the Small Business Center at Forsyth Technical Community College. Active in the local community, Ray is a member of and sits on the board of several community-focused non-profit organizations.
Vajaah E Parker
Vajaah has an academic background in design theory for user interfaces and has worked as a web developer. Her refined strategic tactics and applied knowledge of digital disciplines allows her to launch digital networks for enterprise organizations. Vajaah is the Executive Vice President at WDG, a web agency with a human touch.
