Add a Call Now Button in WordPress
For this tutorial, we will be using a simple yet handy WordPress plugin called Call Now Button. This plugin places a Call Now button at the bottom of the screen. Note that the button is only visible for your mobile visitors.
The first thing you need to do is download and install the Call Now Button plugin. After activating the plugin, visit Settings > Call Now Button for further customization of the plugin.
As you can see in the screenshot below, there are three different fields that you need to fill. The first one is to checkmark the Button Status in order to enable the plugin. The second field requires you to add your phone number for your visitors to call you. Likewise, the third one is the Button text, where you can add the text for your Call Now button.
Also, when clicked on the Advanced Settings tab, the customization option will further extend. On this settings option, you can select the button color, position, tracking, limit the call now button appearance and more. You can also choose the button size and select the order.
One of the interesting features of this plugin is that you can switch back to the old button design if you don’t like the new one. You can find this option to switch back on the Advanced Settings option.
Save your changes and you’re good to go. Your mobile visitors will now be able to call you in just a click. Check your website on a mobile phone to see the plugin in action.
