Alfred, Cheng - Tai Kan

Alfred began his academic journey in the field of physics before pursuing his passion for digital arts, earning an MFA from Pratt Institute in 2005. After graduating, he worked in New York until 2011, immersing myself in the vibrant creative scene. His relationship with WordPress started in 2006, a platform that would later become instrumental in his career. Along with his team, they developed a wide array of customized WordPress programs, catering to various client needs. His work in digital arts was recognized with a Cannes Cyber Lion – Bronze and two FWA awards, accolades that fueled my drive for innovation.

Benjamin Intal

Benjamin Intal

Benjamin has been building with WordPress since 2008. He specializes in developing page-building tools for individuals & businesses. His passion for coding has paved the way for creating various plugins used by over 150,000 websites globally. He is the founder of Gambit Technologies and leads the team in developing Stackable – Website Builder for WordPress, one of the first & most widely used custom block collections for the WordPress Block Editor.

Jonathan Desrosiers

Jonathan Desrosiers

Jonathan has been using WordPress since 2007 to build sites of all sizes, from local businesses to enterprises and large universities. He has been a contributor to WordPress Core since 2013, and a WordPress Core committer since 2018. He passionately advocates for new contributors through mentorship and active leadership. Jonathan currently works as a Senior Software Engineer at Bluehost, where he is sponsored full-time to contribute to WordPress Core.

Nada EISharkawy

Nada EISharkawy

Nada joined GoDaddy in 2021 as the Marketing Manager for Middle East and North Africa, she’s currently Senior Manager, Marketing and part of the commercial Strategy team. Nada enjoys long walks in parks and visiting local coffee shops to satisfy her taste buds. She is the sole recommender of good restaurants to her friends and never disappoints them.

Petya Raykovska

Petya Raykovska

Petya is the Director of Agency Operations at Human Made, a global distributed WordPress agency that has been servicing enterprise clients for more than a decade. In her many years in the software development industry, she’s also held roles in marketing and event management, business operations, project and community management. Petya’s been an active member of the WordPress community since 2011 – volunteering and organising events and supporting the global WordPress Polyglots team as a translation editor and global translation community mentor.

Phoomparin Mano

Phoomparin Mano

A software engineer from Bangkok, Thailand who advocates for open-source, modern web development, type-safe frontends, and building communities for developers to be more creative and learn in public. Codes in TypeScript and Rust. Co-founder of Creatorsgarten, a collective of nerds and creative technologists in Thailand. Former VP of Engineering at Brikl. Lover of cute plushies, onsen baths, Japanese food, medium-rare steaks and macarons.

Wes Theron

Wes Theron

Wes is an Instructional Designer and a strong supporter of the open-source movement. He has a background in education and content development. He is part of the WordPress Training Team and has been creating content for Learn.wordpress.org for the last two years. He is a husband, father, dreamer, and lifelong learner.
