The most awaited WordCamp in the US, WordCamp US 2022 is happening tomorrow September 9-11, 2022 in San Diego. One of the biggest WordPress events this year, WordCamp US 2022 is only a day away. The event is starting tomorrow and all WordPress enthusiasts from around the globe are so ready for it.
We’ve been bringing you news and updates regarding WordCamp US 2022 for quite some time. And now, the day has finally arrived. WordCamp US 2022 is happening tomorrow! Check out the schedule and plan accordingly.
This event is going to be a three-day event, the first and second days will be the official Conference days and the third day will be Contributor Day. And the team is bringing free, high-definition live streams of all the amazing talks at WCUS 2022 to a screen near you.
Out of an abundance of caution and to make this event as accessible as possible to those attendees that have additional health concerns, WordCamp US 2022 will:
- be a masked event
- require either a negative COVID test or vaccination to attend
- follow the guidelines of the San Diego authorities
WordCamp US is partnering with VOW Digital Health, who has built a secure, confidential system for you to safely upload your documents for verification by trained professionals. This allows you to easily comply with the policy and keep your sensitive information confidential.
Everyone must provide proof of ONE of the following using the VOW system to attend WordCamp US 2022:
- Fully Completed COVID Vaccine Record – all doses have been completed no less than 14 days prior to the event date and boosters are not needed to comply.
- Negative COVID-19 Rapid Antigen Test Result – Take a self-administered test no earlier than Thursday, Sep. 8. At-home tests are accepted. Simply write a date on it with a Sharpie so we know when it was taken.
Where to Eat at WordCamp US 2022 in San Diego
San Diego has much to offer apart from the beaches and historical sites. In addition most of the attendees also ask a critically important question: “Where should I go to eat and drink?”

Official Parties
There will be an official parties for all speakers, sponsors, media partners, organizers, and volunteers on Thursday, September 8th, from 7:00-10:00 pm, outside at Look Out Point – the patio adjacent to the Sponsor Hall.
And, for all the attendees there will be an official parties on Saturday, September 10th, from 7:00-9:00 pm, outside in Riverfront Park at Town and Country Resort, just a short walk from the venue.
