WordCamp Asia 2020

We are very excited to share this news with you all. The first-ever WordCamp in Asia is officially on the calendar. WordCamp Asia 2020 will be held on 21-23 February in 2020. The WordCamp will be held in Bangkok, Thailand. Since the event is in the early planning stages, the venue for the conference has still not been publicized.

Its affordable location, ease of obtaining a visa on arrival for attendees from many Asian countries and the availability of inexpensive flights to most major cities in Asia are the reasons why Bangkok is a perfect pick for WordCamp Asia 2020.

Asia has a total of 127 WordPress Meetup Chapters across 23 countries, with over 73,000 members. There had been 137 WordCamps in 18 Asian countries and 52 cities. Naoko is the Global Lead Organizer for WordCamp Asia 2020, whereas Nok is the Local Lead Organizer. The organizing team is expecting at least 1000 attendees from around the world for its first WordCamp. The WordCamp would help the WordPress community in Asia grow stronger and bigger.
