WCUS2022 is Announcing Speakers – Round 5. So, here is the list.

This year will be the first in-person WordCamp US since 2019 and will be held at the Town and Country San Diego.  WordCamp US 2022 is gearing up to take place on 9-11 September 2022 in San Diego, California. The event is nearing and with that, the preparations are at their peak. There are so many things to take care of in order to deliver a grand event. Likewise, Speakers are the core part of the WordCamp. They are one of the reasons why many people enjoy attending WordCamp.

The WCUS2022 team had announced the first, second, third, and fourth round of WCUS 2022 confirmed speakers earlier this week, who are going to deliver ‘Development Talks’.  And now, the team has published WCUS2022 Announcing Speakers Round 5.

So, without any further ado, join us in welcoming our fifth-round speakers at WordCamp US 2022 in San Diego.

Alex Ball

A developer for more than 15 years, Alex has worked with WordPress for almost that entire time. He currently works on crafting custom themes, custom plugins, API-driven back-ends, and more.

 

 

Felix Arntz

Felix Arntz

Felix is a Developer Relations Engineer at Google and a WordPress core committer from Germany, currently residing in San Francisco, California. He is the lead engineer for the Site Kit plugin for WordPress and has been a regular contributor to WordPress for several years. Outside of the web, he spends his time hiking, producing music, learning Spanish, and drinking Mountain Dew.

I am Ganga Kafle, one of the representatives of the WordPress themes team. I have been an active contributor to the themes team since 2014 and have completed more than 3,000 theme reviews. Besides that, I have contributed as a WordCamp speaker, WordCamp and Meetup organizer, and volunteer at various events. Also, I am a full-time sponsored contributor for the themes team from Rank Math. In addition, I am one of the brand ambassadors of weDevs.

Prior to joining WooCommerce, Keala was VP, eBay Payments Services and was responsible for the migration of 19M sellers in 180 countries from a legacy referral model to eBay’s own payment solution. Over the last 22 years, Keala has held roles at VeriSign, PayPal, and Intuit across a variety of payment functions including go-to-market, product, partnerships, and operations.

Micah is a WordPress developer at Bluehost. He’s a WordPress core contributor, plugin developer, and meetup organizer and has spent the last 12+ years learning, living, and building with WordPress.

Sajid has 20 years of experience in digital transformation, digital experience, and customer experience, working at some of the world-class brands such as HP, Autonomy, Interwoven. He has expertise in building successful web & mobile marketing solutions by applying time-tested knowledge in Analytics, Landing Page Experience, Conversion Rate Optimization (CRO), and Copywriting. Furthermore, he has managed over a million dollars in Google Ads on behalf of his clients, predominantly small businesses.

Stephanie Bernal

Stephanie Bernal

Stephanie has seven years of experience in digital marketing, working with various clients to help them optimize their websites and setting them up for success with comprehensive event tracking for insightful analytics data. She helps guide the design and development process by making sure she and her clients are implementing best practices for SEO. She also helps evaluate the user experience on websites through deep user research and on-site testing. Usability and SEO both work in conjunction and are crucial elements when building a new site.

So, these were the few announced speakers who will be presenting their respective talks at the WordCamp US 2022.
